Both are 7.62x39, both are Chicom mags. The first one (pic) is Chicom with a spine, and along the spine I find the stamps :

6(?) F CNZ AJ

Any ideas?

The second one is a standard type flatback Chinese mag, with 3 witness holes along the back, and the floorplate says:

30 RD MAGAZINE

MADE IN CHINA

CJA SFLD MI

Okay, got the second one, CJA (importer, China Jing An) Southfield, Michigan (location)

The one with the stamps still has me stumped.

According to the mag chart, it is either a "ribbed transitional" or a "sino-soviet", but the proofs still got me. So far I've stumped Google, didn't think it was possible, lol.

More research coming...

The first one appears to be a "Sino-Soviet" mag made between 1957 & 1959. The importer's marks, I am unsure of.

The second mag was imported by China Jin An, they were bringing in Polytech marked weapons, which were not actually imported by Dynasty Holdings/Poly Technologies/KFS Atlanta. Seems like there was a lawsuit in American court over it, too, filed by Kengs firearm Specialty or David Keng.

Was CJA related to John Wang or Robert Ma? Clinton contributors or something rings a bell here.
