First of all, its not for an AK...

I missed an auction by one of my sellers in Serbia. It was for a Yugo AK bayonet. I asked if he had another bayo that I could buy at the same price. He said "sure" and I sent him the $27 plus shipping. Well, the bayo never came.

Then after waiting 8 weeks, he agreed to send another bayo for free. This one came in today. Its definitely not an AK bayo but it was certainly shipped from Serbia. I've seen this bayo somewhere as the grips are quite distinct.

Markings: K in a circle (see pic). Bulgy? Handle numbers: 36-190-3. Scabbard numbers: 36-191-3. Blued blade, sharp on both edges. No other markings.

Any info is greatly appreciated. I'm not going to bother returning it... Thanks!

I think I found the answer...

From http://www.worldbayonets.com/Bayonet_Id ... lavia.html

M1956 / Knife bayonet for use with the Yugoslavian M1956 sub-machinegun, closely patterned after the World War II German MP-40.

The blade is double-edged and the grips are made of molded plastic.

Although the dimensions seem pretty normative, it is so small and light that it seems like a toy. Look how small the scabbard is, compared to my hand (and I have very small hands).

Any idea of value? Worth $27 plus shipping???
