I got this trunnion with some parts I ordered and a trunnion was not part of the deal, but it is in there and I am not complaining :D Anyway, I am trying to figure out what country of Origin it is. It looks a bit like a ruski trunnion, but I would really appreciate it if somebody with more knowledge than I could chime in on what it might be :D Here are some photos: (There dont appear to be any casting marks)

That's a pretty distinct trunion. I've seen 'em, but don't remember where.....

I dont think its a Bulgy AK74, it has an AKM rivet pattern. I have a bulgy Ak74 and the rivets are farther apart. This pattern matches the maadi, romy, etc patterns for the AKM's I have.

The search continues :D

Did any of the 74's have an AKM rivet pattern? I am holding it next to a 74 trunnion and the front holes are about 3/16" farther spaced.

its romanain they make all the WASR's with them now. Some of the older 7.62 SAR's had the regular romy m63 type, but this is what they use now for some reason.

If it had a mold number it would look like a Russian AKM
