My VZ-58 furniture mods

First of all, the stock tool I made. Those stocks are on tight!

I made a longer pistol grip.

Then I tried a new shaped for the foregrip. It was weird looking, but it was very ergonomic and allowed the magazine to come out with no interference.

Next was the folding stock cheek weld attachment. I painted it to look like the original furniture. I think I did a good job at that.

And then I started a Romanian type grip.

Next will be an RPK stock. :grin:

I like your Romanian fore-grip. I wish CZ would start importing some of there tactical handguards for the 58 .

I really want the Israeli grips. I have some on my 223 saiga but the VZ ones are $$$. I think Obiwan has them too.

I can get the vz ones for $75 but it takes forever as they never have stock they all come from israel when I order them. I will be doing a group buy on them soon to account for the long delays order a bunch at once.

My favorite mod for function is the cheek rest for the folding stock. It allows for comfort and consistency. I also made it thick enough so that the stock won't lock closed. This was on purpose. It stays closed anyway and quickly swings locked. I might make my RPK stock to wrap around a folder.
