Found this odd picture in my surfing. Looks like a DDR rifle with the furniture painted black and something that looks like a MILES transmitter on it. Those aren't Germans, though. Guy on the right has a Yugo something. Are they Yugoslavians?

Can anyone supply a who, what, and where?

Looks like a laser designator of some kind. When Yugoslavia broke up in the 1990's many of the various factions bought AK's from anywere to include East German surplus. When Civil war broke out, many times one side or another would gain the upper hand by getting the majority of armory stored rifles first and the other side would have to source elsewhere.
