Here are a couple of pics of a batch of PLO milled wood just out of the oven.

These are done with the cleaning/degreasing process and are now ready for repairs.

These will look quite nice when they are done.

Photos will not do these justice of course, but you will see a couple of these in person.

Remember that wood you sent me a few weeks back?

Butts 3 and 4 from the left are yours.

This batch is still a few weeks out from being complete.

Well here are some update pics.

These are three of the sets from the above pics.

While these sets are not perfect, like a new stock, they are better then just tossing them.
The end result is still cheaper than buying new Russian milled wood, if you can find it.

Looks like it came out good Z. I don't see any filler. Very natural looking color too, as if it is pure garnet or dark shellac. My compliments on the PG's especially. It's tough to make them look good without changing the grain /laminate pattern.
