Pentagon orders commanders to prioritize climate change in all military actions - Washington Times
The Pentagon is ordering the top brass to incorporate climate change into virtually everything they do, from testing weapons to training troops to war planning to joint exercises with allies.
A new directive’s theme: The U.S. Armed Forces must show “resilience” and beat back the threat based on “actionable science.” It says the military will not be able to maintain effectiveness unless the directive is followed. It orders the establishment of a new layer of bureaucracy — a wide array of “climate change boards, councils and working groups” to infuse climate change into “programs, plans and policies.”

As a retired Military Guy, when I heard we had skipped some ISIS targets because they were refineries, I was rather surprised. When I learned the reason stated behind this was the possible effect on climate change....
You know we fight wars when we have to, it should be the last resort, but when we take stuff like "Climate Change" in to account, are we really fighting anymore?

So to save the planet, every Air Force pilot will have to shut off his engine or engines for one minute every hour of flight. This will save the planet, and give many pilots and crew members parachute training.

When Saddam Hussein lit the Kuwaiti oil fields on fire in the first desert "war", spewing black smoke into the atmosphere, the "great" Carl Sagan predicted the smoke would slowly blanket the world creating the equivalent of a nuclear winter. Of course a guy by the name of Red Adair and his crew capped the flaming wells and an amazing thing occurred, it rained washing the soot out of the atmosphere and back into the sand from where it came. And the earth was saved.

Too bad these jerks running our military or the ones in the government, non-military running the military don't read history books.

Heh.. if i was the enemy, I would immediately seize as many refineries and other 'green' locations as I could. Then I would run propaganda videos that claim that the bombs and bullets the US and her allies use were bad for the environment.

Ugh.. man.. and who foots the bill for "green" technology and "environmentally friendly" bullets? Yeah the taxpayer. Forget about "Recycling" ammo cans by selling them to civilians as surplus oh no.. crush that shit and leave it buried somewhere. Same with the BILLIONS of dollars worth of stuff that's wasted yearly. That's some cosmic level dumb bullshit right there. "oh we must saaaaaaaaaaave the plaaaaaaaaaaaaaanet' WASTE WASTE WASTE.

It's like they're trying to invent new ways to hinder our ability to defend ourselves with retarded pet projects and social experiments.

My company banned a number of chemicals in the new year. The cleaning staff cannot get the urinals to stop smelling like death with the new cleaners. You have to hold your breath or die. Unfortunately some of the chemicals were also what made our degreasers and electronics cleaners work as well. The new stuff is cheaper but we have to use 4x as much to do the same job of the original stuff. Imo green is utter bullshit to inhibit the production and growth of wealth of normal people. Don't get me wrong there is such a thing as being a good steward of the environment. And then their is cap and trade bat shit crazy meant to line the pockets of the corrupt in the name of green.

Buy from them or not they would still treat their land and waters like shit. I don't blame the gun for who pulls the trigger just like I don't blame the consumer for bad business practices. The Chinese are responsible for their own actions. Stewardship shouldn't be taken so lightly you can't see out your window with all the pollution. But what do I know I work for one of the worlds largest evil oil companies.
