Wish we would have got the manufacturing/distribution center here instead of the Corporate Headquarters, but oh well, it's still great to have them!

I've known about this for a bit - and wish them the best of luck. It's been great to work with them so far as well. They seem to be good people.

I've been through Cheyenne a few times and they probably could use the manufacturing jobs a little more than Texas ...

We moved, too, and it was the right call. Prices were leveling off and have since slipped a bit, so we sold our house at a pretty good time. Miss our friends in Pueblo a lot, but not the snow - 72 degrees F in January here is OH so nice (don't ask me about last July, though...).

Also don't miss the freedom-hating, tax-loving, counter-culture Socialists from CA that have hijacked and defiled our once-lovely home state. It was sad to let go but when you suddenly find yourself living in occupied Poland circa 1939, you've just gotta' get moving...

Too bad they (CO) won't miss the loss of tax revenue because of the large influx of Pot money

I don't understand why you would be located in two different states?

Makes me wonder also. I know some companies will split corporate offices from manufacturing due to state or corporate income tax laws but Wyoming has neither.

If was to speculate, design engineering will be done Texas and maybe due to geographic centralizing for solicitation and support of future vendors and customers with respect to corporate travel. Cheyenne Wyoming does not appear to be a major airport hub and bringing in corporate clients on puddle jumper regional small aircraft is not conducive to good business sometimes.

Purely a labor cost decision for Magpul. It's likely some of their shop employees will relocate with them too. I'm willing to bet being headquartered in TX gained them some tax breaks as well.

I like the statement they're making, but I've also worked for companies that went this route. A huge disconnect between the dreamers in corporate and the soldiers in the shop will happen. Hopefully they don't ruin the company making this move.
