Ok - I'm new - but I guess I'm thinking like a handgun guy.

Is there such a thing as mag pouches/holders for ease of carry.

Juts thinking pessimistically of having to actually carry an AK during the upcoming hurricane season.

To answer your question: Yes, there are many magazine pouches, chest pouches, etc. from East Bloc surplus to commercial offerings. You need to decide how many mags you want to carry and where on your body you want to carry them. Then someone can advise where to look.

Mag Pouch?

Well, for $ 8 I bought off of a website "buymilsurp.com" an East German "raindrop" pouch that has 4 divisions in it for AK mags.

I figure if it doesn't work I could always carry my lunch in it :twisted:

I like the Hungarian 5 cell AK pouch. It has a nice carrying strap, is well made, and has 2 compartments on the outside.

Like a little magazine purse.
