I finally decided to shoot the M95 223 at paper at 100 yrds. I have shot 100 to 300 yrds at steel gongs with no problem hitting them most of the time with iron sights using mostly Radway Green ammo. When shooting the paper at 100 yrds I found I was shooting about 3" to the right. I was using reloads but I cant see reloads changing windage. The only thing I am doing different is I turned the gas port off and not using the mag. I am loading them one at a time and with the gas turn off I dont lose my brass in the snow. I have to manually unload the fired case. Could shooting with the gas port off change the windage and make it shoot to the right? Next time I am out and if the snow is not deep I will shoot with the gas port open and closed. I see you can buy some KNS front sights. Do they work well for target shooting? Or is there a better front sight?
