Heat to glowing orange color & quench in oil to harden. Clean or sand to bare metal, then heat to a light blue color & air cool to anneal. mapp works better, but can be done with regular propane & a good torch.

All you need to heat treat is the ejector tip with your MAAP. Spot weld them in and then heat treat Axis Pin Holes with the Rails installed for strength, and there you go........

You want to heat treat (harden) the ejector tip NOT anneal (soften)... You can use
motor oil (used or new) or salt water. I've even heard of somebody using glycerine
but I personally haven't tried it...
