So if you were going to buy one more gun this year, out of these, which one would you get:

Bushmaster Carbon-15

WASR-2

AK47 bullpup

Taurus 1911

All including the essentials , of course !

Yeah, they're not the top of the line, best of the best, but I have some of the best of the best, and for some reason Im into these right now.

Which one ?

Or would you dump it on mags and ammo for what you already have ?

Of those choices,....................the Tarus 1911, no doubt.

Have you considered a VZ 58 or more ammo?

You may want to do some research on the Carbon 15. I wouldn't buy one.

The bullpup is also kinda questionable.

WASR-2 is good to go.

I'd check for issues with the Taurus, and probably go with that if the track record on them is good.

I'd get a Rock River Arms type AR platform like the one you want from Bushmaster. If they're good enough for the DEA, they should be a fine performer; and at a reasonable price might I add. Of your choices though, the 1911 Taurus.

Rock River, Stag Arms, Sabre, theres many ways to go...
Theres nothing wrong with Bushmaster either,
except for the "Carbon" receiver aspect.
These do not have a good track record. Stress fractures and such.
I'll stick with aluminum.

You can buy a complete upper, slap it on a complete lower, for the same price as a Carbon-15, so why bother with the questionable receiver material?

If you don't have a 1911, then get one. I wouldn't necessarily get the Taurus. I need to dump more money into ammo and mags myself.

Ya never know. They say the same thing about Hesse in the AK world and I have one. My 74 built on a Hesse receiver is an accurate and very reliable shooter. Never a problem. No canted sights, twisted receiver, screwed up rails/ejector, etc.

My Springfield Armory 1911 A1 has been aces over 1k rounds later.
I am sooo happy to have a 1911 to go with my two High Powers.

Can't go wrong with an M1 Carbine, just don't buy a Universal.
I've seen good deals on the Plainfield factory folders, quite a few lately.
Plus Wolf makes .30 these days, so that's a plus IMO.

If that's what they preach over there, I'll stick to ARFCOM.

Ain't nothing wrong with a Bushmaster. (just avoid the carbon stuff)
