Just got finished talking to Sellars. He spoke with Varton at the Shot Show and found out that KVAR will be offering US manufactured Polymer Ribbed Krinkov Handguards.

These are exact copies of the Russian Ribbed Handguards, they will have the lower heatshield installed, and will be available in black with a possibility of plum being offered in the future.

Handguards are tentatively set to be available in about 45 days. Retail price may be in the area of $129.00.

Thanks for the info. I really prefer wood, just thought it might be something for a change of pace every now and then. Looks like I'll be hunting down a Krink kit this week. It really never ends does it.

I must agree with Q-gunner2 here. Looks trump authenticity in this case.
