it's a short range weapon, so why have a sight graduated at 100 meter increments

Mounting the sight on the top cover gives about twice the sight radius that a standard AK front sight would give. A

I guess no. However neither in Army nor in military lessons we heard of it. Secondly, when I asked people around gun sites no one has seen any. AKMSU people so oftenly refer to was just a Pakistani handicraft job.

The Russians are changing back to the regular AK sights with the AK-105 with a sighting range of 500 m.

This is a bit off topic, but why isn't there an ULTIMAK upper rail for a krink? A krink ULTIMAK and a aimpoint T1 seems like a match made in heaven.

Try stormwerx rail with a T-1 my friend!
I seen and heard great things about that set up,
it's on my to do list :twisted:

No doubt they may have tinkered with a few in a testing venue but none we know of ever being issued as from factory.
