My 1968 Romy underfolder kit had a trunnion with a visible slant to the bottom surface. It was bad enough that I had to hammer the rear trunnion into the receiver, and had to hammer the receiver some to fit. Part of the trunnion was also chipped off at the time I had received it (looked to have occurred during the demilling process). It remains crooked and has a minor gap.
I did what any diligent builder would and totally ignored the problem. Now it looks great and has handled about 1000 rounds with no issues.
