P.s. I was a little bit optimistic claiming that it's as good as a new PSA probably 😂 but I'm hoping the new 1.5mm will pull up some accuracy. An fn barrel would be great, but it's 200 dollars and I only have around a hundred for my next step and the new receiver is about a hundred. Then I'll be in PSA neighborhood.

I have a WASR 10/63. Not the best but definitely not the worst guns, really put a lot of work into improving it. Fixed the canted front sight too. Polish bolt and carrier. I ground the corners of the bottom of the bolt GENEROUSLY, incredibly smooth and gentle action now. Have dozens of mags and it doesn't have an issue with any brand or style or anything.
Cold forged barrel, chromed. Not bad anymore, performing more like a PSA tbh.
What I want to do to REALLY slam it home is replace the receiver with a 1.5mm one. I think I could shrink the MOA. I don't care about weight anymore, it's a special gun project for me. Sentimental AK. Think I'll gain some good accuracy with the thicker sheet metal?🤔

I'd like to say, changing the bolt altars you headspace. Can cause catastrophic results! Did you check your headspace with no-go and go guides after this change?
In addition, I don't think a 1.5mm reciever is conducive to 1mm parts. IE...won't fit.
Your WASR 10/63 is going to be worth more in its original state than after a transgendering. AK'S are not know for 1 moa or better. Maybe someone else with more knowledgeable will chime in. However, it is your rifle, so you can do as you desire. I wish you luck in your indevers. 😎

IDK of any 1.5's other than Zastava. Have you checked their website for parts to see if they will sell receiver only?P.s.
