I saw a lot of those modified for siaga's in Moscow in the spring. and that one looks like the front end has been trimmed, but I can't tell with the picture, and it is painted black.

Leper,

If you're a Siaga owner hoping for a Russian 40rd Bakelite, already mod'ed & ready for immediate use: regrettably - this one isn't it.

Hootbro is correct: this one is original / unmolested.
I've attached a closer view of the front lug (+ a few other pics) for your reference. Hope it shows what you need to see, to make your own determination. If the pic links aren't working, just look at the GB listing - I added the pic there as well (it's #13).
If you need/want any other pics & would be willing to provide an email address, I can try to accomodate.

Feel free to snatch it up  & make your own enhancements, for Siaga application.

Shameless plug: Any chance you'd be willing to edit your subject line to include some verbiage regarding "Russian 40rd Bakelite, RPK-47 mag" ??

The Saiga mag will have the front of the mag built up for use in a Saiga without feedramp.
