Thanks for helping me identify this as a Bulgarian underfolder. Anyone know how much this is worth? I only ask because I've never seen one for sale.

(moderators - I post it here as the Bulgy forum has such a small traffic rate. But my apologies if I am bending the rules.)

Thanks again for the help. I sincerely appreciate it.

this is a romanian underfolder. the back side is the difference. romanian, bulgarian and russian are all three different from one another. not sure on the other countries.

I see the flat spot you are referring to in the photo but on the one I posted the flat spot on the rail is longer. It is about 2 or 3 inches long towards the rifle. I've been unable to find another one that looks like that in a pic. But the rest does look very similar.

So I'm still unsure.

THANKS! The guy swore they were Bulgarian. Glad to hear they are.

Any idea how much these are worth?

Moab,

Your stock is Bulgarian, made from stamped steel spot-welded together (cheaper and faster to produce than than the previous version which had milled arms)

Here is an auction with a deactivated Bulgy AKS with the same stock
http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=1876195

Take care
that thing you linked to is selling for 67000 euro!
