Those just came out recently and in a way i always wanted an AR in X39!
But i do know that all those made yrs. ago even by colt, were very problematic. So why would Olympic bring those back? If they work, i might get one because of the cal. :razz: :roll:

I fired a 7.62 Ar at the range a few weeks ago. It was owned and built by "Steve" who owns Familywatchdog.com. I am not sure of what upper he was using though. The thing shot like a champ. However he did say that he had some fouling issues with it, i.e. after so many shots the groupings would start to climb.

He also told me that someone is making an 7.62 AR that will take standard AK mags. I haven't really looked into the whole deal yet, however it does sould interesting.

Yeah I dont know if Wolf Ammo and a DI system would go well together. That Wolf stuff is REALLY dirty. I bet an XCR in 7.62X39 would be better but those puppies cost $$$.

That lower is made by MGI. You can check out www.mgimilitary.com for some more info. They are also working on a 5.45X39 magwell for that lower.
