Well,
Its official, picked up my birthday present today at the local shop, a SLR-107FR.

I am a hardcore Yugo fan, but i gotta say this Bulgy rifle has taken my #1 spot. The finish is solid, it has the flash supressor on it, and a sand stock set.

Iv seen some pics on here that makes the tan look pink or white(maybe because of the flash of the camera?), which is not the case seeing it in person, it is a perfect dark sand color. Im a artist by profession, so im real picky with colors and it fits the rifle well, i fell in love with it the moment i held her  .

I chose the sand because im so used to black furniture i wanted to spice it up a bit, and i gotta say it rocks. Everything seems solid on the rifle, no wiggle room on any of the parts, im gonna sight it in tomorrow morning.

As for cleaning the rifle, is CLP safe to use on the finish? I have CLP in the Spray can form. If not what products should i use.

Thanks again! ill have to get pics up of it with my m72.

Someone posted that Arsenal said it was OKAY to use the Breakfree spray cleaner. I like GUNSCRUBBER, but that will take the finish right off. Anyhow, I bought some of that Breakfree spray, and like GUNSCRUBBER, that too took the finish off. Even though their latest rifles have improved their finishes haven't.....
Happy birthday and congrats on the great rifle! I have two of those with the black stock sets and they are excellent rifles. I use Breakfree CLP from a bottle to clean and lube them and it has not affected the finish at all. Enjoy!
Hey you to huh?

Took mine out today for some fresh air and it was fun.

Oh yeah happy b-day

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

HISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Well i took my 107FR out on sunday, DAMN the darn thing was shooting 3 feet to the left at 75 yards!!!!

I am SO dissapointed, now i gotta return it back to the store i got it from and figure out what my next steps are.

I was really hoping with a $800+ rifle, the front sight wouldnt be canted BUT IT IS!

Wow this really sucks....

Call Julia at Arsenal and get an RGA (Return Goods Authorization number). She'll give you complete instructions.

This answers a question I've had as to whether the Desert Sand ones are "safe" or not.

RGA?

Im so bumbed about it i may just return the rifle all together. I may have to pay a restocking fee though.

Iv seen the horrible jobs arsenal has done fixing canted sights for other peoples rifels, and i really dont wanna get my rifle back from Arsenal with the front sight all chewed up.

Sorry, I forget not everyone is familiar with that term.

Normally, when you return a big ticket item to the manufacturer, you have to have the manufacturer's authorization number on the outside of the box and any paperwork, or they will refuse the returned item.

It's just normal practice when you return something for warranty, the manufacturer issues you an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number, also known as an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number, which gives you "permission" to return the item. Call Arsenal and Julia with give you the return authorization number so that they don't just refuse the shipment when it arrives.
Take a deep breath and call Arsenal.

You've seen ONE front sight that got screwed up by them and they're taking care of that too.

It shouldn't have happened, but I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Ill give em a call and see whats up.

im glad arsenal is working to fix these but its so ridiculous that you buy a $900 rifle then have to send it off for a month or 2 just to get it fixed. they should send you a whole new rifle and 10 bucks for the nics check while they fix their own problems.
