Sorry

Sorry , Bodydropper..
It's typically a very small show... I did see 2 things I wanted
They had a druganov or a romak for 695.00 with optics(didn't look too close.. didn't have that much bank) and a 223 valmet for 1500.00 I got a little wood off that

I will let you know when the next one at gwinett is  That is the good one!!!!

more than likely your can contains Ulyanovsk HP . headstamp 3-94 .

the 8 is a Uly bullet model designation . 'rc' is like crillic for lead . here is
the chrono for that headstamp w/blackend primers which
tested to be corrosive . i dont have chrono #s for the 3-94 w/gold-ish
colored primers nor have i tested them for being non-corrosive yet .

the bullet , from my unfinished book :

ULYANOVSK
3/94___ 123gr HPBT___1.007"__ .310-"____________ no sealer .
blackened primer .
average B.C.#_________ 0.175 G5 . all these
have plastic base insert . Klimovsk too at least 99 date
, Ulyanovsk
until 97 date only then switch to 8HP same date .

chrono data :

ULYANOVSK 3-'94 LCB HP-BT . clean , buff-white box , blackend primers.
16.25"B , 76DEG.F. , @15ft. all are 10shot strings

AVE,2458 FPS
HI , 2489
LO ,2423
ES , , 66
SD , ---

its hot stuff but , normal . you would not be able to tell this from any other
ammo by FEEL without a chronogaph . if it starts to go bad however ,
you'll notice a really loud muzzle blast now and then (acid wet powder
clumping to burn farther up the barrel ) and excessive recoil (really ,
overpowerd ejection ) .

it did not give good accuracy in this particular AK .

lucky bum  enjoy yer shotty !

Thank you Yoda

Thank you Yoda...
You are a virtual fountain of Knowledge
I truly appreciate your post.. I opened the can and found the primers to be grey so I assume that this is corrosive ammo  So I went and purchased some milsurp G.I. cleaner in the O.D. cans 1975 mfg to clean the rifles after use...
If there is a particular procedure for this let me know..

be careful , most old corrosive ammo bore cleaners can cause cancer . use them with A LOT OF VENTILATION and dont get them on you .

i tend to be warry of cancer causeing stuff anymore
