Galil gas block on a romanian AK, will it work?

Curious to know if the dims from the barrel centerline to gas piston centerline are the same from a galil to ak?
The other dims, like barrel diameter I can mess with, but the height of the gas block is the only ?

Looking to "mutt up" a rifle with odd / spare parts.
