I've got a 1966 PMKM kit that I got from APEX. I will be building it on a Polish blank. I am striving for the ultimate in correctness, as this will likely be my last build.

My kit came, as did all the others, fully demilled. All of the rivets were completely removed.

My question is this: On the bottom rear rivets on the front trunnion, are the inside surface of the rivet, visible from inside the mag well, domed like the Russians or flat like the Romanians and others?

Anyone with one of the older imported kits with intact barrels want to look at their trunnion and tell me what shape the formed end of the rivet is?

Thanks for the help.

The polish kit that i have which is a 1971 has domed rivets on both the mag well and the short rivets on the rear stock. also notable to mention that all rivets are swell necks save for the mag well and front two/four upper front trunnion rivets. the rear trunnion short rivets are swell necks with domed insides. the trigger guard is flat.
