Just got a fixed stock polish akm stock from akparts.com. All matching numbers and about 90% parkerized finish. Bore is excellent. I'm satisfied!!

Are the buttstocks actually Polish or are they taken off of Romy kits?

They are polish. I was worried about getting a romanian black band type stock.

Doesn't the rear stock need the metal slot for the grenade launching rubber boot to strap to??

No....That was for the grenade launching capable variant which was a milled PMK.

A standard PMKM has the regular Polish laminate AKM butt.
