Extended magcatch idea. Palinak Chime in

dlask arms offers a very similar catch. If you are going to design another it should maybe be extended downward.

Down lower is a good idea also. My interest is to allow the trigger finger to depress the latch instead of the offside finger. The Dlask one is good for lefthand shooters.

I guess I should've looked better. That does appear sweet. However it will block the trigger finger bolt release I am working on :grin:

Are you thinking of making the release or is it just a conceptual idea? If you decide to produce it, I'd be in for a couple. I have a heck of a time with the standard release and the wide trigger guard.

i find the problem that it is to close to the trigger gauard of the gun if u could do it so it is forward more it would be better

Boy, I wish I lived in a free state. I'm figuring out how to lock mine so it can only be released using a tool.

I was just at dlask arms and did not see any VZ58 stuff listed...got a link for that extended mag release that's good for lefties?

A newer better extended mag release is being developed as we speak, hehe.

THere is no camparison. THe Vz catch is way different.
