Experts, Fat Black "Euro" AK Grip - Where Used?

1184 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Trueno
A couple times in the classifieds I've seen AK grips that do not have the standard AK, Yugo, or Chinese shapes. They appear a bit shorter, a bit fatter and identified as "Euro".

What AK variant & from what country used this type of grip?

Excellent!

Forgot to add, found on AK47 or AK74?
Milled x39's. Not sure on dates, but maybe mid productionish 47's? Typically with hardwood butt and HG's.
You mean one like this (black, shown with Romanian AKM grip):

Bulgarian late issue Type III grips are presumed.
