Hey my first ak build went great except one mistake I filed an angle to the ejector and now I realize that was a fatal mistake.... it only ejects sometimes and that’s no good lol. So I asked Robert forbus what I should do he said to weld a bead to it and then file it to shape and suggestions to how I should accomplish this? any help is appreciated thanks

Clamp a small piece of brass or copper flat stock under the rail/ejector. Run a small bead. Remove the brass or copper backer. Then file/grind to shape and size.

...then keep checking on it every 100 or so rounds fired to make sure soften ejector tip doesn't start to mushroom and induce a different type of malfunction.

The copper acts as a backer and heat sink. It allows you to weld and build up areas that would normally puddle and melt through.
