Is there any builder or Smith that can match the E German Hot blue purplish hue?

BR7.62 does a really good job. At least the bluer he uses does. I tried a local smith here and was disappointed.

FWIW - I am convinced that the purplish hue is a by product of the steel alloy used and how hard the heat treatment was.

You will see Zastava rifles with purple gas blocks with all other components blue.

You will see Romanian rifles with purple bolts.

I believe it is the nickel content that does it.
That would make sense seeing as nickel oxide is a more greenish yellowish color. Blending dark black iron oxide from iron/steel bluing with a greenish/yellowish color from nickel oxidation could conceivably make a dark purple color.

Iraqi Tabuk rifles are noted for their purple trunnions. Two Rivers Arms managed to duplicate that on the Tabuk S that I recently purchased. So, it can be done. Wonder if they'd share with you how they did it?
