I need a Cold Steel Military Classic R1. I want to make sure I'm getting an original and not a fake.

I 'think' I found a legit seller on ebay that will sell them at $172 shipped - just waiting for cold steel to confirm this company is legit.

If we had a member that was a dealer and could get close to that price I would always swing the business their way.

I think the older ones are thought to be better but I am not sure.

Its funny. I intended to get a Randall and just use it as a working knife. At some point I decided that I ought to just get a Cold Steel Mil Classic and actually use that. The Cold Steels have gone up $50 in about a year and now I consider them too expensive to abuse.

I settled on a RAT-7 for about $75 and that will have to do.
