MAS in .308, looks cool, i want one

The French equivilant to the SVT... I would like one for the GL. A .308 blank would push a grenade farther than a 7.62x39mm blank.

Nooo you don't Dieter, have you ever held the full length rifle French Mas? It's a terrible from the word go, everything that is ergonomical to a gun the Mas fails in.

I know you collect Mausers this is one gun that will show you why you do. You'd be better off with another Mauser or 1903, hell even a Enfield.

The Mas rifles I have seen have only been good for one thing....hoisting a White Flag atop the bayonet.

My son had the bolt action MAS in .308 and I have to say that it was a POS. That was the mostly poorly designed rifle I have ever held and fired in my life. Accuracy was poor at best, and the damn thing was just plain ugly to boot. Save your money and buy another AK. :wink:

Dale knows what I'm talking about, the only good guns in France right now are the ones that come from over the Rhine.....if you catch my drift :wink:
