So I can't for the life of me figure out how this thing is stuck together. It has one pin hole that looks like it's been drilled out, no corresponding hole on the other side, the gas piston wobbles as it should, but it won't unscrew. Does anyone know how Century has been sticking these things together? Anyone know how to get them unstuck?

Theyre welded in. Take some cold blue on the side with no hole. The dissimilar metals will show Thru. Then centerpiece the weld and drill in about 5mm. Use a bit just a tiny bit smaller than the hole on the other side as to not egg it out. Once drilled in take a slightly larger bit and "chamfer" the drilled hole just a little. Then chuck the piston in a vise and twist the carrier off

Some will free up readily.
If yours has "wiggle" it may come free easily.

Some of the weld puddles were large and disassembling does not come easy or leaves a large entry hole to free the piston to unscrew.
Good luck with it.

The alternate fix is to plug the side with no pin and peen a rivet to fill the hole., or drill through and pin even if the weld is still holding the piston.
Just for cosmetic appearance.
