Finally got one. Was not planning to buy anything but a local importer brought a batch in.

i read about these few years ago and told myself if they are available I should get one.

They are selling fast, check the Old Western Scrounger website if you are interested.

One of my favorite pistols. Got one in the mid-1990's that is the type you have. The date is by the chamber on the slide. Mine is a painted 87 with those grips. I have a blued 82 with the earlier grips. These were considered a rare gem back in the 1980's when the iron curtain was still up. GI's in Germany would buy them at the PX and bring them home without imports stamps.

Nice one, the "75" pre B model without firing pin block.

I've got 75B from '97 if I remember well - it is one of my EDC pistols.

Dem things are purty.

Unfortunately they just don't fit my hand - when I aim the front sight is pointing toward the sky. That bulge on the back of the grip does it.

I'd love to have a BFPU CZ-85. I remember when Coles would list them occassionally - but the fitment thing always put them on the low priority list.

Happy with my CZ82 pistols - those fit me just fine.

Excellent!

You need a decocker version now too: either a compact or full size, maybe both! Though some people really prefer the "pre-B" trigger, I think that the pull and break on a BD model is pretty amazing.

I'd order one myself (probably a compact; that's a good price from Western Scrounger for either size BD in that condition now), but I recently over-spent on guns to beyond my limits, tbh. I rationalized it as "last chance before election madness to cross-off some of my wtb" but jeez I gotta stop.

I see that they say your pre-B takes the modern mags, which is cool. Good score!

Nice looking piece Scotty, congrats.

OWS, man, I forgot about them. I have not thought about them in about a decade or so. Thanks for the reminder.

They are just up the road from me. I remember my Dad taking me there many moons ago when they had a store, it was fantastic.

Super nice folks.

Valerie told me they are selling fast so if you are on the fence get one.

Sounds like you want a CZ RAMI then for a 9mm option. Bulge-free, as you can see in PeaceSells560's nice pic.

Nice as it is, you probably should avoid the CZ-97, where the bulge is on steroids, Viagra, Cialis, and horny goat weed all at once.

My friend gets annoyed when I shoot his CZ-75 because I shoot it better than he does. ;)

I also have an early CZ P-07 and a RAMI. I really like both of them.

Very nice and one of the original wonder nines. I have always had a soft spot for the older CZ 75's with spur hammer. Congrats!

I searched the webbernets a bit but could not find a Czech holster for it. Hoped RTG would have it as they have other Czech surplus but no dice.

If anyone knows where I could find one I would be mucho grassyass.

You would think that a dedicated holster would exist on the surplus market, but I have never seen one either. I assume that they use some nylon type now a days.

I can't find any vintage stuff and I pulled out all the stops to search. I did find one site but they were out of stock and doesn't look vintage https://www.buymilsurp.com/holster-and-magazin-pouch-cz75-and-cz85-p-41263.html

Found another but is recent Czech production police https://www.ebay.com/itm/Czech-Police-CZ-75-85-CZ-75-SP-01-Tactical-Leg-Holster-Automatic-Safety-Lock-/262352720329

You won’t likely find one. The Czech Police carried them cocked and locked, in a black leather holster w/ thumb break. The holsters were made by Zili in Prague. I know of one interesting variant currently for sale. I will send you a PM
