I forgot this was going on until I was heading to the general store to grab a coffee at about 0730 this morning

Nice pics. They have an event like that in BG, KY too. I just about ran off the road one day looking at all of the ballons in the sky.

We have an even like that in my State as well. They are cool as hell to look at, but you would NEVER get me up in one of those things!

They have a big balloon fest in New Mexico every year.
We went once it was fun.
I prefer powered flight myself.

What you saw was the filming of the opening scene of the new Red Dawn II. It's not supposed to get out that the invaders drop in by hot air balloons. You just ruined the whole opening scene for everyone, way to go.
