I received my compliance parts today and installed them in one of my rifles. The problem that I am running into is that the stiker is catching on the rear of the sear and not the sear edge itself. As you can see in the pic both the sear edge and the rear of the sear are worn indicating that it is catching at the rear.

The problem with this is two fold. One is that you can end up with a kinda "set trigger" and the other is that when it catches at the rear of the sear the bolt cannot fully close because it is being held out of battery by the strike catching too far back....

Am I missing something?

And the fix.........

After comparing it to the original I came to the conclusion that the rear portion was too thick. So I filed it down a little to match the profile of the original and everything is A-OK......

 You were able to file the sear? The sear should be almost too hard to file. Usually hard enough to require grinding instead of filing.
