I see a bright future for you.
I was looking for some aftermarket barrels to buy to test fit some things since my rifle has a brake welded on. No luck at all.... Might have to do some barrels next.

I want someone to make an adapter for use on milled Chinese AK rifles (MAK 90 & MAK 91) (which have the angled receiver) which will allow the use of any traditional milled butt stock. Get rid of the thumbhole stock, install the adapter, install the regular stock. Interested?

Suggest you consider focusing on critical parts for the PSL. The rifle has grown in popularity and increased in value 3x in the last few years. There are (were) parts and kits around, and many partial kits, US-made receivers... And very few front trunions...

Suggest creating a folding stock rear trunion as well. The MagPul Zhukov folder works well, but the PSL (original) rear receiver is quarter-cut, so perhaps an insert that fills the opening?

PSL's are worth creating parts for. Builders and customizers will pay for PSL parts. Very few sources.

Something else no one is doing is a milled receiver but made to look like its stamped and takes a triangle folder.

That would be money.

I can see how there would be downsides got most folks but milling a receiver with today's machining technologies isn't a big deal at all.

$40 in material and an hour of machine time with some outside services like heat treat.

I wonder what the real weight difference is between a stamped and milled receiver. If imagine it's pretty close. Within a few ounces.

The milled receivers are also hammer forged Arsenal of Bulgaria uses a 5 ton hammer forging process.

so you’d want to have to do all the work hammer forging and milling it out, then drill pointless holes to put rivets in, as well as take an end mill to create fake spot weld marks and if that’s not enough mill out the rear end for a folder??? :bsflag:

Who said I have to make a replica? Why can't I use the latest technologies and do my own milled receiver with my own features?

Really though....5 Ton forgings? That's child's play compared to the 120 ton press brakes I have In my shop to do hot titanium forming for airplanes....

I think with my team of guys already in place and the knowledge of everyone on this forum....we can do some great for the Ak world....both in the USA and abroad.

You could certainly do your own design ala Sharp Bros.

Most folks would be looking for something authentic.

How about receivers for VZ58? Not AK but very nice design in 7.62x39.

Tortort has been saying they were going to do a run for over a year now and never have.
