i'm always meesing and tinkering with my guns, mostly because i can't get to the range as much as i would like.anyway,z_recto helped me build my romy g last summer and its great.i carved up the hg's and used duplicolor for the receiver.it looked good and all,but the finish didn't go with the hg's at all  so i got some 3m green pads and took some of the finish off.not completly gone, but definatly worn.next is a g2.i have a century fcg in and thought it was ok.that was until i put a g2 in my aes10b,now i have to swap it out.how'd i do?

i was thinking of some ironwood ones.those are just the hg's i had from the kit.someone did a damn nice job cutting off the forward pgrip.you'd never know it until you look inside the hg.

Looks great Chris.

Get a "pencil" torch (runs on butane) give the area around the drum
some heat(not alot),then hit it with some "PB Blaster", repeat if needed.
You don't want to heat the drum, just the area around it!!!!!
She will break loose.
