I have come across a nice Romy 7.62 barrel and the only parts kit I have on hand is a Bulgy 5.45. Are there any issues with turning down the barrel chamber area to >86 to fit the Bulgy trunnion? Aren't the bolts identical?
I believe if you are using a short lug AKM bolt in the long lug AK74 trunnion your barrel setback will be deep and if the barrel is populated it will stack weird. A virgin build less problem. If gas port is drilled you wilt need to shorten the piston and gas tube a bit.
