They just arrived in the mail and the back end of them won't clear the edge of the mag well and click in. Is this normal? What am I missing here?

I am sure somebody will correct me if I am wrong, but...I think the WASR's are pretty much converted single stacks. You probably just need to open it up a little bit with a dremel.

Dremeled a small portion of the polymer off the back of each mag. All is well now.

Thanks!

+1 ----- Now those mags might be sloppy in your next AK. Break out the file my friend and head over to the build it yourself section.

If you file or sand my mags alittle they will be fine ,that's what I did and they fit good in both my sar-1 and my sam-7 . This is the first time I heard someone say open the mag well .

Leave the gun alone , just sand the mags or use a file .
alot of people have done this , with a happy ending !!!
