The one I saw wasn't. But, that said, it translates well, just watching the movie, between the tension, the humor and the really, really messed up ending!

Is the movie Blokpost subtitled? I'd like to get it but if I have to learn Russian to watch it, I might just have to skip it. Any idea?

It takes place in Chechnya, following an infantry unit. During a patrol they're involved in an incident where a bunch of civillians are killed, and as punishment, the unit is sent out into the middle of nowhere to the Blokpost, a little guard shack on some highway.
Some good fighting, LOTS of gear and uniforms, good soldier humor, and a really, really messed up ending!
Another one to check out is the TV series Spetsnaz. It's a little over the top, but awesome fighting, every piece of gear and uniform you can imagine, and it's NBC TV quality.
