Russian Bakelite mags in 7.62 seem to have dried up this year. Sure you can find one or two suppliers out there, but who wants to pay $75 for a Mag? I bought a few when AIM had them on sale last year but of course it was never enough. Anyone know of any coming in, or has the Ukraine Conflict ended our Bakelite for the foreseeable future?

Tantals' driveway...

They come and go, you couldn't find them anywhere just a couple years back. I wouldn't panic.....yet.

There are plenty of bakes around on the forums and GB for around $40. Big vendors will generally charge more for most items commonly found on the secondary market. But really, the secondary market has plenty of bakes to go around. Hard to look at the various AK site MP's and NOT see some bakes for sale.

Seems to be plenty Tula, Izzy, and EG mags out there these days for under $50. Consider the price of most basic surplus 5.45x39 magazines, and the 7.62x39 prices are not at all bad even for the hard to find ones IMO.

bakes are getting more and more plentiful and cheaper and theres plenty in the usa to go around. prices always go up around election time cause importers and wholesalers know how to keep the flow they like. many sources now on these too.
