Back from first range trip with my VZ58...

I can't say enough good things about this rife, a TGI Version VZ58. It performed perfectly, 200 flawless rounds through it... All I had to do was adjust the elevation of the front post...

Very accurate rifle, off hand and shooting at roughly 20 yards, 4 rounds and all bulletholes touching each other, I'm not an expert shot by any means, but I'm happy with it! After that I just blasted stuff floating in a pond for a couple of hours... Man, that barrel gets hot!

I have never cleaned this type of rifle before, boy it get's pretty dirty around the piston at the barrel...

A blast of brake clean rinses it right clean everything but the carbon on the piston end will wash right away.
Glad you finally got to shoot it.

You were wigging out for a bit.......
Good video on the VZ58 recoil, not any worse than an AKM.
So, you ain't gonna bump it in the water???
Came real close to bump firing it... just didn't...
