Are there any cut-barrel AK kits coming in?

Hi all! Since the "No Barrel" rule has any one seen companies importing complete cut up barrel kits for parts? I am most interested in AK-74s, AKS-74Us, and 7.62 AKs from any country. I am in need of parts so an intact barrel isn't essential. Any one know who may have these?

Cope's has some kits with cut barrels in. Don't know if there the kits your looking for. Check out there web site.
I was wondering about clean cutting and re crowning those barrels for SBR builds? or possibly pistols.. hmm cut barrel kits could be of some interest to me.

From what I understand, they cut the barrel in multiple places, ie you are not able to SBR...
25000 new kits

Century just won a lawsuit to get there 25000"terrorist grade AK47's" released from Italy. They were impounded illegally about 4 years ago. So I would guess you got some " pre-barrel restriction kits" Here. Century will for the most part, build these up as Rifles, but there will be a few sold to the usual suspects........
Hmm, thats pretty interresting! I wonder if they will be permitted to bring them in complete, (the barrels I mean) or if they'll simply be subject to existing regs. ?? I've no idea how that kind of stuff works from a legal perspective.

Do you have more info on this! Sound like a good read?

T
Oh, Norge-

I for one, don't know of any recent 74 stuff. (recent enough to have cut barrels) 7.62 kits with/with out clipped barrels can be had still if you look hard enough. Cope's should soon be getting in kits that are E.G, Egyptian, and I believe Hungarian if i recall correctly. May want to act with haste though, as there was a pre-order going for a while. The whole thing seems to have been kind of an up and down affair for them, so who knows what will actualy show up.
this looks to be cut in one place.. and far enough down to make a nice SBR.. not an AK but, its post barrel ban obviously..

Thanks for your responses everyone! I would like to just buy some cut up guns because I hate to pay well over $100 for a few gas blocks, front sights, grip retainers, etc. when I might be able to get a whole cut up gun for about the same, or so I hope.

If the parts aren't banned yet why aren't these cut ups coming through? We all know that the old Soviet block countries have thousands of old AKs to sell cheap but I'm sure government red tape is holding them up some where.

Thanks again!

nope that is cut in 2 places making 3 sections. one just after the muzzle brake and 2nd after the front site.
Couldn't you cut and re crown that just short of the shortest cut, and re do the cocking tube? I mean Ive got a 4" barreled AK, that barrel appears to be 10"+ at the shortest cut..
