One more thing, and I know this may sound a little paranoid, but suppose I had already ordered my rifle and while Im waiting to get it, another AWB is passed. What happens? Do I get my rifle?

DPMS can be 2 weeks or 6 months. Thye build models in large lots. If you are lucky and your model is the next lot to be built, then you get it quicker.

Until the rifle is 4473'd and in your hands, there is no grace period. So if another AWB was to be put in law tomorrow, then your SOL no matter what you have on order.

Don't know about your first question, but in terms of your second one - no! Until you fill out the 4473, the rifle legally isn't yours. If you'd already paid for it, you'd have to attempt to get your money back.
