You would think with a sale like that there would be more pics and details... All that shit just tossed in a box?...

Wonder where they got those and what went wrong with whoever was going to build them?

When I first saw it I thought it was a combloc ad. John usually has vague descriptions and pics of parts in boxes like that too.

I swear I remember seeing this like a year ago at the very least. At amazing price of $617 per (most likely non matching, incomplete, US barrel) kits, it's a wonder it hasnt sold! :twirl:

I know OF those guys, I do not know them personally. It is an attorney in Oxford,MS who's main focus is exporting. (Legally) I read an article about them in a local business journal I will see if I can find a link.

$35K is ridiculous. Roughly $615 per kit with receiver.

For those who have not figured it out yet, the golden age of inexpensive QUALITY kits is over. It has been for quite some time. For those of you that went all out and scored every kit you could....you did good. For those that came into the game late, you missed out.

For those that amassed a nice collection, think very hard before selling off any original barrel kit that you had assembled, because you will not be able to replace it.

For those that want to get into the Kalashnikov hobby, and want new guns, watch the ads in Shotgun News for the major distributors selling new AK pistols. These pistols are 100% country of origin and all you need to do is file the paperwork (ATF Form 1) and then replace the rear trunnion with a fixed stock trunnion. Because it is an SBR after approval of Form 1, you do not have to comply with 922R.

These Yugoslavian pistols are pretty much down to $499.00 each now, or they will be soon. Copes Distributing is offering the M85 for $499 on Black Friday.
