Any chance of an Arsenal SLR-105U?

Do you guys think there's a reasonable chance that Arsenal will ever come out with a 5.45 krink? If not, why? Why did Arsenal come out with krinks only in .223 and 7.62, but not 5.45?

Highly doubtful! I would have a more reputable builder build you one from a kit. I wouldn't wait for Arsenal.
Yeah there is a chance, here's a good indicator if the odds are good enough to put money on it.

You win a random lottery for $250,000,000 that you didn't even play, the check is delivered to you by the entire Miss America contestant group whom ironically enough forgot all their clothing as they headed your way, on top of that they are especially lonely and easy going this day.

^ If this ever happens, Arsenal will still never make a logical decision, but at that point one really wouldn't care

I know they did make them in Bulgaria, I got one by chance on a sell site. There was two for sell. It came NIB box, cannot tell that it was an aftermarket job. Would not be surprised if they have some in thier wharehouse.

wait wait, it was made like that??!!?!?!

did you refinish that? because if not id say the stock was an aftermarket job with a refinish
Two years ago I bought it just like it is off Auction Arms NIB, I put the Russian wood on it. The whole gun would have had to be refinished and it's not. It's a great forgery or the real deal.
I thought the original question was if they were going to make a krink. That is not a krink. That is also a conversion. Looks nice though. Better finish than Arsenal's too.

I will be getting my Bulgy AK-74 folder next week. New Bulgy kit built on a DCI receiver. Can't wait...
Relax.

There is of course a possibility that Arsenal could release 5.45mm Krinks, but it is extremely slim and they would be mega-expensive if it did happen. I sent my SLR-105R to InRange and had them add the PG plate and folder hardware - of course that is not a Krink, nor is the one pictured above.

Arsenal (to the best of my knowledge) did not release any 5.45mm folders from the factory.
Thats definitely a conversion. Check out the shape of the folder latch hole.

dream crusher
Does anyone have any idea why Arsenal released a krink in .223 and 7.62 but not in 5.45? This just doesn't make any sense to me. They obviously had the parts kits for the 5.45 krink; guys are buying them up left and right as we speak. And they had the receivers; they released the SLR105.

As the Caveman Lawyer said, "These things confuse me."
