Now that is purdy...... I had never really considered AK's to be 'dress' guns until I wandered into here at the advice of a buddy :)

Nice job man. I only hope I can find someone around here as skilled as you guys to help when I build mine!

It's seeing stuff like this that makes it very hard to keep my spare SLR-105A1 NIB.

I've thought about having Mario turn it into an AKS-74.

Beautiful rifle!

...thanks to all for the kind words. This is one variation of Ak I had to have. I love the AKS-74. I got my inspiration from seeing other members builds here on the fourm.

AWESOME BUILD!!

It is very authentic looking. Wait 'till you try that RSA adjustable trigger at the range, it's the shit!

PS-are you as afraid of getting a nick/scratch on your Russian laminate
as I am? I've really never been that way about a firearm 'till that I got that
Soviet wood fitted on one of my '74s.

Hey IronBalaclava...I know how you feel about keeping the Russian wood looking as new as you can..I try to be careful at the range and I got a extra set of 74 HG just in case  The Russian wood really makes the rifle pop...
