(Russian) AKM Pistol Grip without mold number?

One of the PGs from the russian mixmaster AKM kits (Cope's) from a few years back does not have a mold number. Any significance? Except for lacking a mold number, it looks identical to the Tula ones that I have.

Thanks,
RSM

I got a few of that type several years ago, they were AKM take-offs and if they had not come direct from Russia I might have suspected them of being from someplace else. They had a slightly more rounded shape with less sharply cut (or distinctive) checkering, overall very similar to an early Romanian grip with standard checkering (not the later inverted), even in regards to their quality. In other words, they looked really early and not what you'd see on low mold number Izhevsk's. I always wondered if they might have been early Tula grips, but just don't know.
