Anyone have pics to show me what these two handguards look like?
I know what the lower 74 and lower AKM/AK handguards look like but am not sure what the difference is between the upper handguards.

I haven't found a good photo to compare the two types, but basically the laminated wood 74 uppers are beveled on each side of the bottom edge near the vents. You can see the lamination layers in the bevel.

AKM uppers do not have the bevel. The bottom edge near the vents is pretty much square.

OK, so the 74 upper is similar to a krink upper and the AKM is cut flat on the sides.
