If you needed 1 U.S. part for a magazine for sec922, for reliable function in foreign magazines, which would you recommend; follower or base plate?

I was looking at K-VAR:

Made by Arsenal Inc in the United States, the MA7-001UB follower is an additional US made part for your 922r compliance. Made to the original design, with no reverse engineering, it provides flawless functionality and works with all 7.62x39 caliber mil. spec. magazines with 5, 20, 30, or 40 round capacity. Will work in Saiga Magazines.

Base plate:

U.S. made Arsenal Inc. Floor Plate. The MA7-004U is produced using a high tech progressive dye. With the saying, "We don't cut corners!” This was made using 100% of the original technology. It is heat treated and blue finished and best of all, it bears the Arsenal Logo, the trademark for perfection and high quality products.

If you are planning on using these with steel magazines, stick with the plastic follower. The base plate they advertise will not work and was apparently designed for use with the polymer type Bulgarian magazines.
