AK 105?

1. What type of side rail goes on the AK 105? Where can you get one?I emailed tantal, but got no response. If I can't get the proper rail what would be the next best thing?

2. I recieved an AK-74M top cover(smooth) last week from Rusmilitary and it doesn't fit on my slr-105. Is there anyway to make it work?

Hi,
the ideal side rail for you to use is AK74MP. Tantal carry these in his website and you can just go ahead and order.

And what do you mean by the dust cover doesn't work? if it is too long, you can file the front carefully to get a tight fit.

The serrated end of the recoil spring guide won't lock in the square hole of the top cover.

I see, the hole can be carefully enlarged a little for the spring guide to fit in, but, is the Slr-105 you mentioned the same rifle that will be converted into the 105? if not, I would suggest not touching it for now and fit it to whatever spring guide that it will be mated to instead.

my smooth top cover didnt fit either i just sent it off with the rifle im sure any qulified builder could make it fit.

did you manage to find a set of night sites for yours i cant seem to locate any

I'm not looking to put night sights on it. What other types of side rails will work?

Thanks for the responses. Chris Butler is building my ak 105 clone and he will fit the top cover properly.
